Design Intent
Lotus is a heritage automotive brand synonymous with sophistication, precision, and timeless performance. The showroom design needed to reflect this refined legacy—exuding class and confidence without becoming overly complicated or visually busy. The overall language had to feel understated yet powerful, allowing the brand’s identity to speak for itself.
Design Approach
Working within the framework of Lotus’ corporate colours and imagery, we carefully balanced brand requirements with spatial refinement. Despite certain design limitations, the showroom was curated to remain elegant, composed, and unmistakably Lotus.
A cool, dark colour palette was selected as the base to reinforce a sense of luxury and restraint. This allowed Lotus’ iconic corporate colour to stand out as a bold focal point—subtle yet impactful. Clean lines, controlled material choices, and intentional lighting further enhanced the showroom’s premium atmosphere.
The lounge area was designed as a calm retreat within the showroom, combining comfort with quiet luxury. Plush seating and refined finishes create an inviting space that encourages customers to linger, reflect, and fully experience the brand in a relaxed setting.
Overall, the design delivers a contemporary interpretation of Lotus’ old-school sophistication—modern in execution, timeless in spirit.
